Tom Hough, CEO of Carrollton Bank, has announced that Mark Vance has been promoted to regional president of the Springfield bank.
Vance joined Carrollton Bank in 2008 and has over 30 years of banking experience. He assumes the role of Dave Haney, who is retiring.
“Mark has outstanding relationships with his customers, strong local roots and a proven record of helping business owners with their banking,” Hough said. “Dave Haney has led our tremendous team in Springfield and will be greatly missed. Mark has seamlessly stepped into his role and continues building solid relationships with local businesses and individuals.”
Vance started his banking career at Bank One in Springfield and later worked at JP Morgan Chase. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri and his MBA from the University of Illinois.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given, and the support I’ve received from so many friends and colleagues,” Vance said.
Carrollton Bank is an employee-owned company with 3.2 billion dollars of assets that’s been led by five generations of the same family for 146 years.
