Liz Willis Soldwedel has joined HPR Marketing in Springfield as vice president of operations.
Soldwedel said, “Moving to HPR was the right path, considering the advantages that CEO Wally Hamlin and CMO Kari Downey could offer – specifically, moving ahead in the digital world, using research-infused insights and the team’s ability to quickly adapt strategies as the marketplace changes for clients. I’m delighted with the intelligent, creative staff. It’s a challenging and fun place to be.”
Since 1987, Soldwedel had been the morning host on 100.5 WYMG-FM, under the name Liz Willis, and added Capitol Radio Group operations manager to those duties in May of 2017. She is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
“Certainly, my experience in traditional media has given me a great understanding of consumer behavior, and now, being a part of the HPR Marketing team, I am immersed in the digital realm and love it,” she said. “It’s fast-paced and excellence-driven.”
