Land of Lincoln Health (LLH), Illinois’ first and only consumer-operated and -oriented health insurance plan (CO-OP), announced today that it has received accreditation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Chicago and Northern Illinois. Accreditation by the BBB is based on a number of factors including embodiment of integrity, security of sensitive data, responsiveness to customers, and honesty and transparency.
“We are excited to join the ranks of businesses that have been accredited by such a well-known, highly trusted organization,” said LLH CEO Dan Yunker. “This particular designation signals that we continue to meet the high standards we set for ourselves in providing first-rate service to our members. We thank the BBB of Chicago and Northern Illinois for their ongoing efforts to give consumers the tools they need to confidently make personal and business decisions.”
As part of the accreditation, the company will be able to display the BBB logo on their website, which links directly to LLH’s BBB Reliability Report, demonstrating that LLH meets and supports the BBB Standards of Trust.
