Memorial Health names chief information officer

Suresh Krishnan will join Memorial Health as chief information officer effective July 28.

Krishnan most recently served as chief technology officer at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina, and is very familiar with Illinois, having spent more than 30 years with health care organizations in the Chicago area earlier in his career.

He graduated with honors from the University of Madras in Chennai, India, earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

“I was fortunate to work with Suresh at Cone Health, and he has a collaborative, forward-thinking approach,” said Mandy Eaton, president and CEO of Memorial Health. “His experience with the Epic electronic health record will serve us well as Memorial implements Epic during the next few years.”

Krishnan also has experience in the cybersecurity field and has worked extensively with AI tools to enhance clinical operations, data analytics and patient care delivery.

“I’m impressed with the desire for a culture of innovation at Memorial,” Krishnan said. “I look forward to getting to know the team and helping lead the organization into the future.”
