Jason Knoedler appointed CEO of Bank of Springfield

Jason Knoedler has been appointed as the new chief executive officer for Bank of Springfield (BOS), effective immediately. Knoedler has been with BOS for 18 years.

"Jason’s proven track record of leadership and his ability to inspire those around him make him the perfect choice to lead BOS into the future," said Mike Pence, president of BOS. "I look forward to continuing our teamwork for many years to come."

Knoedler succeeds Tom Marantz, who continues in the role of chairman of the Spring Bancorp and BOS board.

“Together, the dynamic team of Jason and Mike represents a blend of continuity and forward-thinking leadership, dedicated to upholding the bank's community traditions while outlining a course for future prosperity,” said Marantz.

Bank of Springfield was founded in 1965 as a neighborhood bank on the southeast side of Springfield. BOS now serves 12 communities with locations in Illinois and Missouri.
