Drawing from her experiences in India’s fast-paced media landscape with the 2019 Prime Minister election campaign, The Times of India Group and now at University of Illinois Springfield, join us to explore the challenges and opportunities journalists face within varying regulatory frameworks, cultural expectations, and political climates. Professor Deo also teaches courses within UIS’ School of Communication and Media. Deo joined UIS from The Times of India Group in New Delhi, India, where she played a key role in the chief operating officer's office and hosted her own digital show.
