Caroline Suhadolnik has opened Solstice Acupuncture & Apothecary

Caroline Suhadolnik has opened Solstice Acupuncture & Apothecary, a business that she hopes “will bring more awareness around different modalities of medicine, more natural ways for the body to heal.”

Suhadolnik, a Springfield native, recently moved back after five years in Phoenix, Arizona. While there, she completed a master’s degree at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. “I worked at a clinic while I was in school and for a year after I got my license, then decided to return to Springfield,” she said.

She treats people of all ages with a broad spectrum of chronic and acute illnesses as well as many physical conditions through acupuncture, herbal medicine and body work. Suhadolnik said she also focuses on nutrition and “using food as medicine.”

Solstice Acupuncture & Apothecary opened on Sept. 9 in a suite at 301 South Grand Ave. West. CrossFit Instinct occupies approximately two-thirds of the former First Baptist Church, with several other complementary businesses also located in the building.
