Springfield Clinic and Central Illinois Customer Service Association to bring national keynote speaker to Springfield on June 7

Springfield Clinic is partnering with the Central Illinois Customer Service Association (CILCSA) to bring national keynote speaker Austin Hatch to Springfield on Wednesday, June 7, to share his story of “Grit and Thriving in the Midst of Adversity.”

Hatch will share lessons learned from unimaginable loss, his extensive health care journey and his road to recovery and triumph with the end goal to inspire others to thrive in the midst of adversity.

“Austin believes that we are not a product of our circumstances; we are the product of how we choose to respond, and this is the attitude that we strive to instill in our care teams,” said Zach Kerker, vice president of brand, experience and advocacy at Springfield Clinic. “I’ve heard and been inspired by Austin from afar, and we are thrilled to partner with CILCSA to bring his voice to a large and local audience.”

Hatch will speak to 250 employees at the Springfield Clinic leadership summit in the afternoon. The evening session, in partnership with CILCSA, will be open to the public and CILCSA members.

The event will be held at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel, 701 E. Adams St. Check in and networking will take place from 4:45-5:15 p.m. with the keynote address from Hatch at 5:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required and can be accessed at this link:

“Providing tools and best practices for how to deliver exceptional customer service is mission of our organization, and it’s the right time to partner with Springfield Clinic to share the unforgettable journey of Austin to learn how to adapt in the worst of times and to celebrate the impact we have in the service we provide to others,” said Des Logsdon, a founding board member of CILCSA.
