Engineering firm Fehr Graham opened its new office in Springfield this month after moving from its former location on South Grand Avenue West.
The new office, located at 2060 W. Iles Ave., officially opened July 14.
“Fehr Graham continues to grow in the Springfield market, and we are excited about our new space,” said Mary Coombe Bloxdorf, branch manager of the Springfield office. “We are committed to the Springfield region and the many clients we have here, and continue to work to be a strong partner in the community.”
Fehr Graham acquired Springfield firm Coombe-Bloxdorf P.C. in 2015 and has worked out of the Coombe-Bloxdorf office until recently. Mick Gronewold, chairman of the board and principal with Fehr Graham, said the company has added surveying and municipal and private development to its Springfield office since the acquisition - growth which prompted the move to Iles Avenue.
“In Springfield, Fehr Graham has earned a reputation as bridge experts,” said Gronewold. “That expertise has spread into Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin, and has provided us opportunities to serve communities throughout the Midwest. ... With our solid reputation and expanded service lines, Fehr Graham is now able to better serve all of our clients, near and far.”
