Clean Slate Advocates was established in 2023 by executive director Robert Frazier. The goal was to provide free laundry services to individuals and families facing homelessness or financial hardship in Springfield.
With a motto of “Empowering lives, one load at a time,” Clean Slate Advocates recognizes that something as fundamental as clean clothes and linens can profoundly impact lives. Through its From Soap To Hope Challenge, the organization is able to provide access to laundry services to those in need. “We stand firmly on the belief that everyone, irrespective of their circumstances, deserves to feel clean, confident and cared for,” Frazier said. “This challenge is our commitment to not just clean clothes but to the well-being of every individual we serve.”
Sponsorship opportunities are available for both individuals and businesses to help support Clean Slate’s mission. The organization also facilitates donation drives to collect essential items such as laundry supplies, clothing and linens.
