Citizens Club of Springfield: "The Role of the Arts in our Community"

The arts play a special role during the holidays and enhance the quality of life in our community year-round. Join the Citizens Club of Springfield and NPR Illinois for a program featuring Gus Gordon, Executive Director at the Hoogland Center for the Arts, and Sheila Walk, Executive Director of the Springfield Area Arts Council. NPR Illinois General Manager Randy Eccles will moderate the program, which will address how the arts enhance our community and economy, what are the strengths and challenges for the arts, and what needs to be done to fully realize the arts potential in our community.
