Perspectives
Art Gallery, a fine art gallery space that features both local and national
artists, opens its doors Nov. 11 in Petersburg.
Located on the eastern side of the town square at 112 S. Sixth St., Perspectives Art Gallery will showcase an eclectic mix of talent, featuring the works of nationally and locally-renowned artists including Laura Pollak, Daniel Lai, Pam Hamilton, Addren Doss and Rich Ford.
“Perspectives is more than just a gallery space. It’s a hub for artistic expression and communal engagement – a testament to the town’s dynamic spirit and its eagerness to embrace diverse viewpoints,” said Toni Lowenthal, owner and curator of Perspectives Art Gallery. “Petersburg has seen a tremendous growth and resurgence of new businesses and viewpoints over the last several years, and I look forward to contributing to expanding the cultural diversification of this incredible town.”
“The
resurgence of the lovely town of Petersburg will bring in new art lovers from
all over,” said Pollak, a North Carolina-based pastel artist. “Visitors can
leisurely view new art from outside the region, which will open new visions of
creativity from around the country. Having my art seen by Petersburg
communities and the residents nearby will add a richness to us all.”
An
opening reception will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, from 4- 8 p.m. Regular hours
of operation will be Wednesday-Friday from 11 a.m.- 5p.m. and Saturday and
Sunday, 12-5 p.m.
