Alysse Hewell has joined INB as the director of marketing and communications. She
replaces Marilyn Titone-Schaefer, who retired earlier this month.
Hewell spent more than 11 years with Troxell, first as the marketing manager and and marketing director and later as the chief experience officer.
"I was looking for something new and challenging," Hewell said. "I love the fact that INB is a local company, like Troxell, that gives back to our community. They have a lot of great people who care about the work that they do."
Hewell said that she is looking forward to having two team members working with her, "which will free me up to do more strategic projects." She also said there is "a lot of growth opportunity" as INB seeks to expand its brand in other locations outside of Springfield.
Hewell noted that it was not an easy decision to leave Troxell after such a long time with the company, especially because her husband and father still work there.
"There's no hard feelings; it's a great organization. I was just ready for a change. I'm excited for the opportunities with INB," she said.
Hewell holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and marketing from Indiana University Bloomington.
She was named one of Springfield Business Journal's Forty Under 40 in 2022.
