What led you to your current career? I enjoy the detail-oriented and analytical nature of accounting and have been fortunate to have had influential professors and mentors over the years. Finance serves as the backbone of every organization; it's an area that connects all areas of operations and I love playing a key role in driving long-term success.
What do you wish your younger self had known when you started on this path? Staying true to who you are will give you confidence for success. Ask questions, listen to understand and be coachable. Avoid comparisons and trust in your own timing.
What has been your greatest professional achievement to date? What seemed like small moments over the years compounded and led me to my current role as CFO at Heartland Credit Union that I am so proud of.
What's the best purchase, under $100, you've made in the last six months? Starting a small herb garden for the summer.
