What is your guiding principle in life? Professionally, I have always made career decisions based upon the answers to these three questions: Is it a good work that positively impacts the world? Is the work done with good people and culture? Lastly, can the work provide enough to sustain our family? But above all, it is to honor God with my life.

What is your greatest hope for Springfield? For renaissance – for us to rise to our potential and develop a community in which we are proud to be a part of, where businesses are proud to be located and where other capitals look for inspiration.

What would you like to give back to your community? Isringhausen has always been a philanthropic pillar of our community, and I hope to see that grow and develop further. Additionally, the continued and expanded access to exceptional automotive experiences. We have a genuine and deep passion for these vehicles and the emotions they evoke, we want to share that with the community and beyond while providing an exceptional place to work.

What obstacles have you been able to overcome on your career path? A little over three years ago, during a high-pressure stage in my career, one of our children was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. The struggle to balance professional responsibilities while fighting for the life of our child was almost unbearable. Fortunately, we were able to exceed professional expectations and, more importantly, our son survived and today is a funny, wild, healthy and joyful kiddo. God shined on us that year, but it was a battle on all fronts, at all times.

What do you wish your younger self had known when you started on this path? Focus on building trust and making relational deposits with those along your journey. Remain humble, open minded and curious. Also, when you're upset about something – write the email/text but reread it in the morning before sending and reconsider.

What's the best purchase (under $100) you've made in the last six months? A nice pair of in-ear monitors. Specifically, the Simgot EW300 DSP's so they can plug directly into most phones.
