What is your guiding principle in life?
Growing my faith, providing for my family and living a virtuous life; accepting what you cannot control and focusing on what you can.
What led you to your current career?
I've always had a passion for good food and serving the community, so when I started working for Mark Forinash at Cafe Moxo in 2011, I knew I was in the right place.
What would you like to give back to your community? I get the opportunity to coach for the Springfield Youth Football League, and it gives me a chance to help teach a group of unbelievable young men the value of hard work, attitude and effort.
What do you wish your younger self had known when you started on this path? The value of developing your team's skills, and the power of communicating with your staff.
Are there any events of the past year that have affected you and how so? The June 19, 2024, fire downtown on Adams Street had a huge impact on my life. This event allowed us to look for a new location, and has given me the opportunity to help Mark and Cafe Moxo reopen in the central west end of Springfield.
Who was your childhood/teenage celebrity crush? Typical 90's kid answer, but Topanga from Boy Meets World.
