Dan Cody has joined Eck, Schafer and Punke, LLP as senior manager. The firm, headquartered in downtown Springfield, has been in business since 1994.
Cody has more than 25 years’ experience in public accounting and the private sector providing audit, accounting and tax services for individuals and businesses across various industries, ranging from privately held corporations and partnerships to governmental and nonprofit organizations. Most recently, he was a partner with the accounting firm of Estes, Bridgewater & Ogden, which is closing as of Dec. 31.
Cody earned his accountancy degree from Eastern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. H
Cody resides in Chatham with his wife, Ellen, and two children, Will, a college student, and Caroline, a high school student. They also have an older son, Logan, who lives and works in London.
