Springfield pharmaceutical wholesaler H.D. Smith recently named Kyle Pudenz corporate vice president of supply chain management.
Pudenz joined H.D. Smith in 2014 and most recently served there as senior director of purchasing.
In his new role on H.D. Smith's executive leadership team, Pudenz oversees the direction of category management and buying procurement, while working to enhance vendor relations and inventory investments, according to an announcement from the company.
Chris Smith, president and CEO of H. D. Smith, says Pudenz "brings a wealth of experience in manufacturing and distribution industries" to his new role.
"He supports H.D. Smith’s core value of providing an extraordinary customer experience for both internal and external customers," Smith said, "using 'big data' analysis methods combined with a continuous improvement culture."
