Workforce 101 Career Exploration

Explore workforce careers through hands-on sessions in the areas of construction, automotive technology, HVAC, commercial electrical maintenance, and hospitality and culinary arts. LLCC will host Workforce 101 from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 11 to allow individuals to try out various career training programs. Registration for the free event is available at www.llcc.edu/workforce. The event begins at the Workforce Careers Center on the LLCC campus, 5250 Shepherd Road. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. From 10-11:15 a.m., participants will attend their chosen workforce session. From 11:30 a.m. to noon, participants can learn about steps to enroll, ways to pay for college and support services, such as the Workforce Equity Initiative and services for veterans.
