Troxell has acquired Denton-Merritt-Dycus Insurance Agency, a Springfield-based agency that has served the community since 1960.

Denton-Merrit-Dycus is located at 2800 S. Sixth St. As part of the transition, Dave Merritt will remain actively involved and available, while John Merritt will continue serving as the primary point of contact and join Troxell as an agent.
In addition to this acquisition, Troxell recently expanded into Decatur with a new office and has acquired the former Land of Lincoln Credit Union building at 300 South Grand Ave. W. in Springfield, adjacent to its headquarters.
