Caldwell has nearly two decades of public accounting experience and has spent most of his career working in the health care industry. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, he served as an audit partner at RSM US LLP and oversaw RSM’s central Illinois health care practice.

In his role, Caldwell oversees the Clinic’s financial planning and analysis, accounting and physician compensation teams.
Caldwell lives in Rochester with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as attending his children's sporting events. He also loves to travel and is active in his local church.
