Memorial Health has acquired the property at 500 N. First St., which previously operated as the Homestyle Inn and Suites. The location at the southwest corner of First Street and Carpenter Street is directly across from the main entrance to the hospital's campus.
Demolition on the building is underway. In a written statement, a spokesperson said, "Memorial Health will use the property for a yet-to-be-determined future strategic priority."
