Magnolia
Lane Home Décor and More is preparing to relocate again, this time to Chatham.
Marci
Ridle purchased the business, originally known as 6th Street
Home Décor and More, in April 2013 and moved into 3600 S. Sixth St. in July of
that year. The business sells new and gently used furniture and home décor,
plus vintage and hand-painted furniture.
When that
location sold in 2022, Ridle signed a lease for a suite in The Yard Shopping
Center, 1650 W. Wabash Ave., and relocated in January 2023. Now, she is leaving
that space as of July 1 and opening a store at 20 Cottonwood Dr. in Chatham.

“We live in Chatham, right on Route 4,” Ridle said. “We’re trying to build on our own
property, but we’re having to deal with IDOT and it will take a couple years by
the time we work it out and actually get it built.”
In the
meantime, Ridle has signed a lease for space next to Jan’s Dance Studio in a
building behind CheckPoint Tire & Service Center.
“It’s
very small; it will be a lot more manageable,” she said. “We went from 14,000
square feet originally to 10,000 to now 2,000.”
Ridle said
she is also leasing a warehouse in Chatham to store inventory. She is holding a
moving sale to try and clear out inventory at her current location, which will
be open through Saturday, June 29.

What state are we talking about?
Sorry to repeat but what state are you talking about? When you said IDOT I know that as Indiana and the Westfield, IN area.
