Little Lincoln’s Toy Shop to relocate

Little Lincoln’s Toy Shop is on the move once again.

Two years after the toy store moved to its current location at 3001 W. White Oaks Drive,
it is getting ready to relocate again — to a larger storefront just two doors down.

Owner Ryan Leake said the store has outgrown its current 3,200-square-foot space. By
moving to what formerly was the Jane Hay Sales and Staging Team’s office at the end
of the West White Oaks shopping center, Little Lincoln’s will be adding another 2,200
square feet to its store space.

“We have grown so much over the last two years, and there are some things we want to
add,” Leake said. This includes an expanded children’s book section and a section
focused on “kidult” items, Leake said, such as collectibles and board games for
millennials and teenagers.

Leake said the new space will not require a lot of renovation work, and he hopes to be
opening shop there in September.

“We are just finishing up painting, we’re going to do new flooring, and then we’ll start
assembling all our fixtures,” he said.

Leake opened the original Little Lincoln’s store in 2018 at 3450 Liberty Drive. The shop
moved to its current location in early 2024.

“We really appreciate the Springfield community and the surrounding areas for
supporting us,” Leake said. “Running a small business these days has its challenges,
and we just appreciate the support so much.”
