Paris, Illinois-based Dimond Bros. Insurance has expanded its Springfield presence with the recent acquisition of the Lee O’Keefe Insurance Agency.
Lee O’Keefe has relocated its operations from its offices on Chatham Road to Dimond Bros. Springfield office at 3931 Wood Duck Drive. The agency will continue to operate under the Lee O’Keefe name, and owners Brian Blough and Glenda Richards – along with team members Quinn Allen, Mandi Rogers and Tammy Lay – remain with the agency.
Joining with Dimond Bros. will allow the agency to offer its clients deeper expertise and more competitive options, Lee O’Keefe said in a statement provided to Springfield Business Journal.
Blough said Lee O’Keefe’s focus on customer service and trustworthiness has enabled it to serve the Springfield market for more than 90 years.
“Dimond Bros. Insurance fosters those same values, and our cultures are harmonious,” Blough said. “We are excited to be able to strengthen our commitment to the community and our customers for years to come.”
Dimond Bros. said in a statement that the acquisition reflects the company’s commitment to align with agencies that “share a strong client-focused philosophy, deep community roots, and a dedication to service excellence.”
This is Dimond Bros. second recent acquisition in the Springfield market. In 2025, the company acquired Snyder Insurance, which included locations in Champaign and Bloomington as well as Springfield. Snyder also relocated its Springfield operations to Dimond Bros.’ Wood Duck Drive offices.
Dimond Bros. is the fifth-largest independent insurance agency in Springfield, based on number of local producers, according to Springfield Business Journal research. Lee O’Keefe is the seventh-largest independent agency in the area, and Snyder is the 10th, according to the information compiled by SBJ.
Lee O’Keefe was started in 1934 by Kenneth Lee as a personal insurance firm, then expanded into commercial lines in the 1960s. Lee acquired the O’Keefe Insurance Agency in 1979, creating what is now Lee O’Keefe.
Founded in 1867, Dimond Bros. now operates more than 40 locations across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and South Carolina.
