Springfield Clinic has announced a new affiliation Peoria Surgical Group, Ltd (PSG), a well-established, locally owned and operated surgical practice in Peoria.
“Peoria Surgical Group has been caring for their community for decades. They have dedicated themselves to creating genuine relationships with their patients, which has led to great results and a quality experience for everyone involved,” said Cal Thomas, Springfield Clinic's vice president of business development and marketing. “That approach aligns directly with Springfield Clinic's core principals and makes this affiliation a natural fit. We're excited for the ways in which we can grow together and for what that means for our patients.”
PSG has provided patient-focused care and educated future surgeons and physicians in the Peoria area for more than 60 years. The group is comprised of 11 surgeons and four advanced practitioners who provide procedures in the colon and rectal, general surgery, breast surgery, plastic surgery, surgical oncology, surgical weight loss and thoracic surgery specialties. PSG also offers minimally invasive surgery and procedures for hernia treatment, LINX reflux management and Mediport® insertion.

PSG’s surgeons will continue to practice at their downtown Peoria location at 1001 Main Street, Suite #300, now known as Springfield Clinic Peoria.
