RISE Springfield is holding its annual Give & Take Professional Clothing Drive this week at the Lincoln Land Community College Trutter Center on Friday, Oct. 11, and Saturday, Oct. 12.
Clothing donations will be accepted on Friday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Donations should be clean, gently used, professional clothing items with no holes or stains. Examples of clothing accepted include dresses, skirts, blouses, suits, slacks and khakis.
On Saturday, Oct. 12, all donated clothing will be available for community members to pick-up from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Bags will be available for attendees to take clothes home in while supplies last. Any donated clothing left over at the end of the day will be donated to local nonprofit organizations.
