What is your guiding principle in life? Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago. Think long term and act today for future benefit.

What is your greatest hope for Springfield? A united, thriving Springfield where youth flourish, communities connect and sports, education and opportunity drive a vibrant, healthy future.

What would you like your life to look like in 10 years? Looking forward to being in the sweet spot of life with a thriving and healthy family, traveling to new destinations and working on my golf game.

What would you like to give back to your community? After losing my mom a few years ago and standing through a never-ending receiving line for four hours, I'd like to have made an impact to warrant a receiving line a fraction of what she had.

What do you wish your younger self had known when you started on this path? Everyone stumbles along the way but learning from mistakes and perseverance will get you where you want to be.

Favorite song lyric? "It's time to move on, time to get going. What lies ahead, I have no way of knowing," from "Time To Move On" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
