Chelsey Ziebler launched Ta Da Catering three years ago, and the business is now expanding to include a brick-and-mortar location with additional offerings.

“Vine & Rind will be our storefront for wine and cheese,” Ziebler said. “The front of our space will be a store with wine for sale and a few different kinds of boutique liquor. The rest is more like a restaurant.”

Vine & Rind will be located in the newly constructed strip center at 3267 Ginger Creek Drive. Potter Drugs already occupies one end cap space, and Ziebler said Vine & Rind will have the other, which will also allow for a drive-through window.

Ziebler said Ta Da Catering specializes in custom charcuterie boards and having a storefront will help address demand.

“Customers have been asking for a place to pick them up, and people also want to be able to stop on the way to a party and grab one, or place an online order that day,” she said.

Now, customers will be able to pick up orders at the drive-through window or take advantage of a build-your-own option in the store.

“We’ll have everything you need to make your own charcuterie board: jams, jellies, pickles, crackers, cheese boards, knives,” Ziebler said. “There will be a full-service deli to purchase meat and cheese by the pound so you can build your own and take it home.”

The space will also include 24 self-serve wine stations offering 1 ounce, 3 ounce and 7 ounce pours.

“It will be a mix of local, regional and international wines. We’ll have a nice variety for people to try,” Ziebler said. “My husband and I have traveled to a lot of wine countries. I’ve always been a big wine and cheese lover.”

Vine & Rind will offer soups and sandwiches for lunch, then in the evenings customers can choose from already curated charcuterie boards, small sharable plates and fondue. There will also be a selection of gourmet desserts, including cheesecake, made in-house.

Ziebler said she plans to host events such as wine and cheese tastings and bourbon tastings, along with live music.

“We want it to be a place where people can gather – people can share things and come together for fun events,” she said.

A late summer opening is planned.
