After starting out as a home-based business helping clients with residential and commercial construction projects, ProBid is now in the midst of a significant project of its own.
Owner Justin Conder is moving his business to 223 N. MacArthur Boulevard, the 10,000-square-foot building at the corner of MacArthur Boulevard and Jefferson Street that most recently housed James Machinery.
Were going to grow our sales team, and its also going to be a showroom to meet clients and discuss projects, Conder said. He said that approximately 3,000 square feet will be devoted to the showroom and office space, while the other 7,000 will be used for storage.
ProBid provides construction management and general contracting services for a wide range of residential and commercial projects. We can do anything from a parking lot to building out a commercial space, said Conder, who intends to expand the services the company offers along with the physical expansion of the business. We plan to bring over solar, HVAC and roofing next year.
Conder said he started ProBid last year to leverage the numerous relationships he has developed in the industry. Ive been in construction for 15 years and always done my own thing with flips and rental properties, he said. Myself and another guy run the day-to-day operations, and were hiring for sales positions. This growth is all going to happen in phases.
Conder is currently renovating the building that will house his new business, and hopes to have it operational by the beginning of 2023.
