Vistrit Choudhary has been named the director of reporting and analytics at the Illinois Behavioral Health Workforce Center. In this role, he will be leading the agency’s data collection and analysis efforts, which will be used to inform the state’s investment into building a robust behavioral health workforce.

Choudhary previously spent four years as a health policy coordinator for SIU Medicine Population Science & Policy. He has a master’s degree in public policy from University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.

He is a National Rural Health Association Rural Health fellow and serves as chair of the Administrative Professionals Council at the SIU School of Medicine.

Choudhary was named one of Springfield Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2025.
