Jennifer Bettis has joined the Lincoln Land Community College Foundation as director of major gifts.
She most recently spent four years as a director of development for University of Illinois Springfield, after 17 years as director of advancement for Sacred-Heart Griffin High School.
“Connecting donors with causes that matter deeply to them is a great privilege and I feel very fortunate to be entrusted to do this important work at LLCC,” Bettis said.
Bettis has a bachelor’s degree from Quincy University and a master’s degree from University of Illinois Springfield.
She has been active with a number of community organizations, including Illinois Women in Leadership and the Springfield Art Association, where she has served as board president for both nonprofits.
Bettis and her husband, Chad, have been married for 20 years. She has one stepson, Taylor, who lives in St. Louis.
