“We’re planning to build an implant center; that’s going to be our main focus,” said David Gallego, the practice manager. “Dr. Mosquera is a prosthodontist.”
Prosthodontists, who have advanced training in the field of aesthetic restoration and replacement of teeth, specialize in repairing natural teeth and replacing missing teeth. The U.S. has seen a significant increase in the number of cosmetic dentistry procedures performed annually over the past decade, according to the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Mosquera was previously affiliated with Aspen Dental in Springfield.
