Little Lincoln's Toy Shop to relocate

Little Lincoln’s Toy Shop isn’t so little any more. Ryan Leake opened the toy store in 2018 in a newly constructed retail center at 3450 Liberty Drive, but said, “We’ve outgrown our current location.”

A move is in the works to 3001 W. White Oaks Drive, where two suites between the Gold Center and Wilson Haberdashery have been combined to create a larger space for Little Lincoln’s Toy Shop to relocate.

“One of the things we’re excited about is wider aisles and more space to shop,” said Leake. “It can get a little overwhelming, especially at Christmastime.”

Leake said it will also allow for more products to be on display. “We’ve seen an increase in our baby customers, so we want to have more for them to choose from. We’ll continue to expand on the toy lines as well.”

The store is still operating on its regular schedule, Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 12-4 p.m., although Leake said the business will most likely close for a few days at the end of the month to allow inventory to be relocated.

“Our goal is to be open in the new location at the beginning of February,” he said. “We couldn’t have done this without all the community support, and I’m really grateful.”
