Jerry Peck named senior vice president of governmental relations for CBAI

BY MICHELLE OWNBEY

Jerry Peck has been hired as senior vice president of governmental relations for the Community Bankers Association of Illinois (CBAI). He replaces Kraig Lounsberry, who began his tenure as CBAI president on Jan. 1.

“I have known Jerry for more than 10 years,” Lounsberry stated. “He is well-known and well-liked at the Statehouse and he will be an excellent addition to the CBAI governmental-relations team.”

For the past five years, Peck has served as director of government affairs for the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association. He has also worked as a contract lobbyist and owned his own media and communications company. Peck holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
