Jason Gibson has joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company as an assistant vice president - commercial lender. He will be based out of the Springfield branch at 3601 Wabash Ave.
Gibson, who has 16 years of experience in the banking and lending industry, has worked in collections, special assets, consumer lending, mortgage banking and more. He was most recently employed as assistant vice president of lending at West Central Bank.
Gibson is a graduate of the Capital Area Realtors
Leadership Academy and has participated in the Community Bankers Association of
Illinois Commercial Lending Institute. He was recognized as one of Springfield
Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2022.
Gibson is active in the
Chatham Chamber of Commerce and Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, along
with serving as the director of communications and marketing for Chatham Baseball
and Softball, Inc. and an assistant coach for Chatham Baseball. Originally from
Pana, Illinois, Gibson currently lives in Chatham with his wife and their four
children.
