Trustwell Living has acquired a 67-unit senior living community in Springfield, the former Bickford of Springfield property located at 2451 W. White Oaks Dr. The purchase was finalized on May 13.
Trustwell Living is a senior living operating company based in New York City that was launched in 2021 by senior housing veteran Lawrence Cohen and a team of former colleagues.

At Trustwell Living communities, the goal is the same… to be a community where family cares for family.”
According to a written statement issued by the company, significant capital improvements will be made to the property, including improvements to common areas, resident apartments and the addition of a memory care neighborhood. Renovations are slated to begin this summer.
Shannon Meyer, LPN, has been hired as the new executive director.
