The Central Illinois Chapter of the National Customer Service Association (CIL-NCSA) will host a panel presentation on Delivering Service with a Local Flare on Thursday, Dec. 13. Representatives from Engrained Brewery, Sheedy Shores and the Springfield Running Center will share best practices on hiring tactics, employee retention and the promotion of a customer service culture to give small business a competitive advantage.
The event will take place from 4-5:15 p.m. at Illini Country Club in Springfield. The cost is $29, or free for chapter members. RSVP by Dec. 10 to [email protected].
In addition, a winter social will be held immediately following the presentation with a cash bar and hors doeuvres. There is no cost to attend the social, and it is open to all non-members and guests, regardless of attendance at the prior workshop.
The CIL-NCSA was founded in 2015 and is committed to improving service in area organizations and businesses. By bringing together leaders who care about customer service, the chapter works to leverage each others experiences and successes to make Springfield The Friendliest City in America.
