The Creek Pub & Grill in Chatham has completed a significant expansion.

Owner Perry McAtee said he removed the wall behind the bar and remodeled the adjacent area, adding about 2,200 square feet to allow for increased offerings. The new space, known as “The Creek-Easy,” will be reserved for 21 and over to allow for a broader clientele to enjoy what the business has to offer, McAtee said. It includes video gaming, dart boards and a pool table and the bar has more than doubled in size.

The Creek opened in 2008 in the Foxx Creek Plaza and the business at 1081 Jason Place recently took over a suite formerly occupied by Advanced Physical Therapy.

“With the fully stocked arcade and the addition of this area, we hope that our patrons can consider this the spot to go to with or without the family,” McAtee said.

McAtee said he plans to add dart leagues and expanded hours in the near future.
