Samuel Moore has joined the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln as an accounting and finance associate.

In this role, Moore will support the Community Foundation’s financial operations and data management efforts, including accounting and recordkeeping functions that help ensure the organization’s fiscal integrity and effectiveness.

“I am excited to begin my journey at the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln,” Moore said. “I look forward to advancing the vision and mission of this incredible organization and helping connect people who care with causes that matter in our community.”

Moore joins the Community Foundation from the Illinois Auditor General’s Office, where he served as an auditor. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from University of Illinois Springfield and was actively involved in student leadership, serving as a senator and treasurer in the Student Government Association. He was also recognized for his contributions to Model Illinois Government.

Currently, Moore is pursuing his Master of Business Administration and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials. A native of Moweaqua, Illinois, he is a graduate of Central A&M High School.
