What led you to your current career?

I began working at Hope 15 years ago and quickly realized I was working with a team of amazing people to support a mission that positively impacts so many lives. There was never a reason to leave.

What obstacles have you been able to overcome on your career path? The pandemic profoundly impacted our organization. Our staff and kids were getting sick, but when it seemed impossible, our staff rose to the occasion.

What do you wish your younger self had known when you started on this path? Don't let the fear of failure hold you back.

What has been your greatest professional achievement to date? I am in a position where I can make positive and impactful changes in our program and the lives of the kids and families we serve.

Are there any events of the past year that have affected you and how so? My supervisor has had a positive influence on my life. I have more on my plate than ever, but having a supportive teammate at my side is an incredible feeling.

What's the best purchase (under $100) you've made in the last six months? Fantasy novels and crisp-white wine.
