The organization is composed of Illinois hospitals who have earned critical access hospital designation by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. ICAHN is recognized nationally for its work with rural healthcare and administers several state, federal and private health care programs.

“O’Shea Builders has been a strong supporter of ICAHN and its member hospitals for several years,” said Pat Schou, ICAHN executive director. “They have been particularly generous this past year, allowing free use of their facility for us to conduct numerous trainings, assisting hundreds of staff in all departments with continuing education from small and rural hospitals throughout the state. O’Shea has truly provided an invaluable service to us.”

An ICAHN organization sponsor, O’Shea Builders is a professional construction services provider, located at 3401 Constitution Dr., in Springfield. They specialize in pre-construction planning, general contracting, construction management and design and build services.
