Larry Sapp joins Garrison Group

Larry Sapp, a well-known local real estate developer, has joined Garrison Group as a broker. Sapp began his real

estate career as an agent with Lincoln Land Development in 1975 and most recently served as president and managing broker of the company. Lincoln Land Development has been responsible for a number of projects in the Springfield area, including Prairie Crossing and Patriot Plaza.

David Plake, president of Garrison Group, said, “We’re certainly thankful that we’ve been able to add Larry to our team, with his years of experience in the commercial real estate field.” Glen Garrison will continue to serve as the managing broker for the company.

While Garrison Group has long been known for commercial real estate and property management, they have recently expanded their services. “We now have a residential brokerage partner, Lincoln Land Homes,” explained Plake. “Garrison Group has been strictly a commercial company, and we’ve not done residential. But because of those relationships we have with people in the community, we often have someone ask if we can help them with their residential property. We’re excited about this new relationship with Lincoln Land Homes.”

Tom Hardy, a long-time State Farm agent, has been with Lincoln Land Homes for the past two years, and he and Sapp will be handling residential transactions through the new arrangement with Garrison Group.
