Kent Siltman hired as CFO of Illinois College

Kent Siltman will join Illinois College as the vice president of business affairs and chief financial officer on May 4.

President Barbara Farley said in a message to the campus community that Siltman will provide visionary and strategic leadership to drive the college’s long-term financial sustainability.  “I am confident that Kent will be a valuable addition to our leadership team,” Farley added.

Siltman graduated from IC with a degree in business administration and economics and earned his MBA from Bradley University. He has spent his entire career working in finance, most recently serving as CFO for Bound to Stay Bound Books in Jacksonville. In addition, he spent 20 years as president and CEO of Citizens First State Bank in Walnut, Illinois.

“I am excited at the opportunity to serve the institution that put me on the path of lifelong learning,” Siltman said. “I look forward to working with President Farley, the board of trustees and the entire staff of the college to support the great work that IC is doing and to help to make it an even better institution.”
