Chase Hammon is the new vice president and chief financial officer for Springfield Clinic. He has 15 years of financial operations management experience, including the past 10 years spent in health care. Hammon will oversee all financial operations, capital outlay, revenue cycle, treasury services and supply chain.
He relocated from Virginia, where he most recently served as chief financial officer at Bon Secours Mercy Health Richmond Medical Group for the past two years. Hammon also spent eight years in academic medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Hammon served in the United States Army for nine years. He received his MBA in health care management from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a certified medical practice executive. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from George Mason University.
Hammon lives in Chatham with his wife and seven children.
